Central FL ISSA has booked another terrific lunch-n-learn for our members and guests at no cost!
Friday, May 20th, join us at the Tap Room at Dubsdread for really amazing food and educational IT Security content from Secureworks!

Troy Bettencourt from Secureworks will be delivering a presentation on “Enterprise Ransomware: The Boogeyman of Governments and Corporations Alike”.  Come out and learn something new, network with your peers and enjoy a delicious lunch.


Troy Bettencourt is the Director of Reactive Services and Incident Response Consulting at Secureworks. He has over 17 years of experience in incident response, digital forensics, cybercrime, and has spent 6+ years at Secureworks. Troy previously served as Secureworks’ senior most emergency IR consultant in North America and was also US federal agent for 11 years. During that time, he was responsible for leading/working large scale incidents across a global offender/victim base, primarily in cybercrime and fraud investigations. Beyond his professional career, Troy has demonstrated a passion for security by serving as a law enforcement liaison officer to the US Army Cyber predecessor and the US Cyber Command predecessor. He holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and currently holds GCFA, GCFE, GREM, GPEN, CFE and other incident response / digital forensics certifications.

This event is open to all Central FL ISSA Members and Guests, including students, practitioners, recruiters, and others interested in Cybersecurity and related topics at no cost.  Parking is also free!

Lunch-n-Learn events are worth 1 continuing professional education (CPE) unit for most certifications.
